GAUTAM TOMAR

Hi! My name is Gautam Tomar. I was born and raised in New Delhi, India. While going to medical school, I wrote and acted in comedic plays and did stand-up comedy to entertain students and teachers in my college. Even though I enjoyed acting a lot, I never thought to be an actor due to being fully invested in medical school.

 

After working for a few years as a PT, I realized that I was missing something like a drive or passion in my life. Therefore, I decided to pursue something that I truly enjoyed in college- acting. I trained for acting with HB studio in New York City (2021-2022) and continued training at various studios in Vancouver after moving to Canada in 2024. 

 

I worked as a lead and supporting actor in a few short films and plays in NYC. The moment I stepped on set for my first short film, I knew this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. The freedom that I experience from acting is something that motivates me to constantly hone my skills and love every aspect of this craft.

I enjoyed doing kickboxing and weight lifting for fitness. Recently, I found a passion for Salsa dancing and doing action stunts and I'm pursuing it religiously. I find pleasure in learning new things and getting better at them.
